OZARK MOUNTAIN RENTAL CABIN

Our cabin is located in a very secluded area on the edge of the Gene Rush Wildlife Management Area in the Ozark National Forest about 8 miles east of Mount Judea in Newton County, Arkansas.

We have sleeping accomodation for up to 8 people. This includes a room with four large bunks, a room with a full size bed and a room with a king size bed.

The bathroom has a tub and shower.

There is a fully equipped kitchen and a wood burning stove. We have a TV with a few local channels, a VHS player with lots of movies, a radio and some games.

There is a large shady yard for barbequing, family gatherings or just relaxing.

There is no land-line phone or internet connection, however all cell phone services get good reception from the cabin and grounds.

This is the perfect area for hunting deer, elk, turkey, bear and squirrels.

A real hunter's paradise. We are one mile from the Gene Rush WMA in the heart of the Ozark NF.

You can bring your horses or 4-wheelers for endless miles of adventuring.

We are 15 miles from the Carver Access to the Buffalo River which makes our cabin a great place for canoeing, hiking, fishing, and birdwatching. Many waterfalls, caves and bluffs offer endless exploration.

Rock climbing bluffs including Sam's Throne and Pedestal Rocks surround this cabin.

Spring brings the blossoming of the red buds and dogwoods...autumn you will find the changing leaf colors are spectacular.
